About This Offer
The U.S. Embassy for Peace (USEP) offers the TOA 190 – Trade Over Aid Capacity Building Programme, a mentorship-based initiative designed to strengthen institutional capacity, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and international commercial engagement. The programme supports participating countries by providing: Mentorship Diplomacy programmes Leadership development Entrepreneurship and small business development Trade and export readiness training Workforce and skills development Innovation and technology capacity building Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation awareness Investment readiness support Business matchmaking and commercial networking Water, agriculture, manufacturing, and infrastructure knowledge exchange Public-private partnership facilitation International mentorship and professional networking Training may be delivered virtually or in person through partnerships with American businesses, universities, professional associations, entrepreneurs, retired executives, nonprofit organizations, and subject-matter experts. Where appropriate, participants may receive certificates of completion for approved training programmes. Cost: Introductory mentorship registration and selected awareness programmes may be offered at no cost. Advanced training, customized technical assistance, certification programmes, or in-country implementation services may involve fees or be supported through sponsorships, grants, public-private partnerships, or other funding arrangements, depending on the scope of engagement.
Limitations
Participation is subject to programme capacity, availability of mentors and technical experts, partnership agreements, funding, and scheduling. Customized country programmes, technical assistance, and certification activities are developed in consultation with participating governments and partner organizations. This is an ongoing initiative with rolling participation, subject to available resources and operational priorities.
