The Mentorship Diplomacy Platform is a capacity-building framework developed by the U.S. Embassy for Peace (USEP) to support the U.S. Government Trade Over Aid Campaign through mentorship, workforce development, entrepreneurship, trade facilitation, and public-private partnerships. The platform helps governments, businesses, educational institutions, and communities transform goodwill into measurable economic and social outcomes through the G1-G2-M1-M2 Mentorship Diplomacy Model.
About This Offer
The Mentorship Diplomacy Platform (MDP) is a structured capacity-building ecosystem designed to promote sustainable development through mentorship, enterprise creation, workforce readiness, trade expansion, and international cooperation. The platform operates through the Learn America, Do America (LADA) Program and supports the objectives of the U.S. Government Trade Over Aid Campaign by encouraging countries and communities to move from aid dependency toward trade, entrepreneurship, innovation, investment, and shared prosperity. The platform incorporates five integrated components:
- American Mentorship Development Program (AMDP)
- Trump Advantage Business Support (TABS)
- U.S. Mentor Register (USMR)
- International Mentorship Facility Administration (IMFA)
- U.S. Association of Public Diplomacy and Professionals (USAPDP)
The platform utilizes the G1-G2-M1-M2 Mentorship Diplomacy Model: G1 – U.S. Government Goodwill through trade promotion, educational exchanges, technical assistance, and public diplomacy. G2 – Partner Government Goodwill through regulatory cooperation, investment facilitation, workforce development, and public-private collaboration. M1 – Mentor Organization Participation through training, mentorship, certification, technical assistance, and enterprise support. Participating organizations may qualify for an Education Provider Certificate (EPC). M2 – Registration of Profit Yielding Initiatives (PYIs), enabling entrepreneurs, youth leaders, women-owned enterprises, cooperatives, veterans, diaspora professionals, and community organizations to launch sustainable economic initiatives. Capacity-building services may include:

The platform encourages collaboration among governments, universities, chambers of commerce, development organizations, private-sector partners, and civil society institutions. Cost: Basic participation in Profit Yielding Initiative (PYI) registration may be available through an Early Bird Registration fee of US$1 where applicable. Financing Availability: Where appropriate, participants may be connected with strategic partners, investors, philanthropic supporters, trade promotion initiatives, business development services, project preparation facilities, and enterprise support programs established through public-private partnerships and international cooperation frameworks.
