Through our specialized service centers, PTR provides technology and innovation capabilities that support organizations in strengthening productivity, competitiveness, and innovation capacity, including professional training, technology transfer, engineering and product development, quality management and certification support, and advisory services related to Argentina’s Knowledge Economy Promotion Regime.

Polo Tecnológico Rosario (PTR) is a non-profit public-private association with more than 25 years of experience promoting innovation, technological development, and business competitiveness. As an active member of the regional innovation ecosystem, PTR connects companies, universities, research institutions, and public organizations to facilitate knowledge exchange, technology adoption, and the development of innovative solutions. Through its specialized service centers, PTR provides a wide range of technology and innovation capabilities that can support companies, institutions, and productive sectors according to their specific needs. These capabilities include: Capacity building and talent development: design and delivery of training programs, aimed at developing human capabilities for the knowledge economy, including digital and technological skills, soft skills, and innovation-oriented competencies. Through its Training Center, PTR provides learning opportunities for different audiences, including children and young people, through technology awareness and early skills development programs, as well as professionals, companies, and organizations, through both in-person and virtual modalities Technology transfer and innovation support: leveraging its role as an innovation ecosystem connector, PTR facilitates collaboration between companies, technology providers, universities, research institutions, and public organizations to promote knowledge exchange and technology adoption. PTR can also support organizations in identifying relevant innovation programs and preparing project proposals according to available public or private funding schemes. Engineering, product design, and development: provides technical capabilities to support companies and organizations in the development, improvement, and optimization of products and technological solutions. Services include engineering design, component and part development, product redesign, digital modeling, prototyping, and technical assistance throughout the product development process. Quality Management, Standards, and Certification Support: provides expertise to strengthen management systems, improve operational processes, and align with internationally recognized standards. PTR supports the implementation and continuous improvement of systems based on standards such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems), and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management Systems), helping organizations improve efficiency, sustainability, information security, and competitiveness in demanding markets, both individually and through collective approaches. Knowledge Economy Promotion Support: provides advisory support to companies and organizations interested in accessing Argentina’s Knowledge Economy Promotion Regime, a policy framework designed to promote the growth of knowledge-based industries and technology-intensive activities. This support helps companies better leverage available incentives, promote innovation, develop technology-based activities, and enhance their competitiveness in national and international markets. PTR’s approach is flexible and demand-driven: capabilities can be provided independently or combined according to the objectives, challenges, and maturity level of each organization. This allows the development of tailored interventions that contribute to improving productivity, fostering innovation, strengthening technological capabilities, and generating new business opportunities. The availability and cost of these services depend on the scope, duration, and technical requirements of each intervention. Services may be provided on a fee-for-service basis or supported through available co-financing and funding mechanisms, depending on the characteristics of each initiative.
