About This Offer

Winrock International strengthens rural economies by helping entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), producers, and local governments create the conditions for sustainable, private sector led growth. Through market systems development, business incubation, entrepreneurship support, workforce development, and value chain strengthening, we help local businesses become more competitive, access new markets, increase productivity, and generate quality jobs. Our approach focuses on empowering local actors to drive their own economic development, ensuring that growth is durable, locally owned, and responsive to market opportunities. A core element of Winrock's model is mobilizing blended and catalytic finance to unlock investment for underserved businesses and rural enterprises. We work with financial institutions, impact investors, corporations, and governments to de risk investment, expand access to capital, and build pipelines of investment ready enterprises. By combining technical assistance with innovative financing mechanisms, we help SMEs scale, strengthen local supply chains, attract private investment, and create economic opportunities that generate jobs, increase incomes, and foster long term economic resilience in rural communities. Winrock International designs bespoke solutions together for partners on a non-profit basis.
