Safe, Reliable, Cost-Effective Autonomous Drone-Based Logistics Infrastructure for Stronger Supply Chains
Zipline partners with sovereign nations to build safe, accountable autonomous logistics systems that advance their own health, economic, and development priorities. Each country-led deployment is a mutually beneficial commercial partnership—not traditional aid—combining private investment, American-built advanced technology, local employment, and operating expertise to strengthen domestic commerce, expand access to essential goods and services, and support self-reliant growth.
About This Offer
As a U.S. AI and robotics company, Zipline designs and manufactures autonomous aircraft and operates one of the world’s most experienced autonomous delivery networks in the world. Zipline deploys two complementary autonomous logistics systems. Our long-range platform is a full-stack logistics solution combining centralized warehousing, autonomous drone-based distribution, and end-to-end data traceability. Partners—including governments and private-sector companies—pay to centrally store products and supplies with Zipline and have them delivered on demand to the last mile. The solution strengthens supply chains serving healthcare, agriculture, and other essential services, helping maximize public benefit and support rural economic development. Our precision platform is designed for dense urban environments, where we partner with large retailers, restaurants, healthcare providers, and delivery platforms to offer fast, on-demand delivery to consumers, users, and patients. It helps businesses reach and expand their customer base without cannibalizing existing sales; enables patients to receive medicines and diagnostic results as soon as possible; and reduces pressure on crowded city roads. In doing so, the platform strengthens local commerce, market access, trade value, and economic growth. Zipline’s leadership in autonomous drone delivery is grounded in over a decade of continuous, large-scale international operations. Zipline has flown more than 140 million autonomous commercial miles without a human safety event and completed more than 2.8 million commercial deliveries across four continents. In specific health deployments, Zipline has reduced stockouts by up to 60%, medical wastage by as much as 67%, maternal deaths by 51–56%, and child fatalities from malnutrition by 22%. We work closely with both governments and private sector partners, to deploy our solutions. Each deployment is designed collaboratively, including use-case assessment, network design, operational and regulatory planning, technology integration, and local operational capacity. Costs, pricing, and delivery terms are determined through a joint feasibility and commercial-design process, based on geography, required coverage, volumes, use cases, service levels, and local regulatory and infrastructure requirements.
Limitations
The offer is subject to regulatory and aviation approvals and a mutually agreed commercial structure. We look forward to working with partner organizations to determine demand and volume requirements, local infrastructure readiness, and flight-safety and operational planning that will inform both regulatory approvals and commercial agreements. Scope, cost, and implementation timing vary by country.
