About This Offer
Walmart and the Walmart Foundation complement sourcing from small producers with philanthropic programs to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers, with a focus on Central America, India, and Mexico. Between FY2021 and FY2025, the Walmart Foundation awarded grants of $82.3 million with the aim to improve farmer livelihoods and value chains, encourage the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices, unlock access to finance, grow formal market linkages, strengthen Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and empower women farmers in FPOs. Program results include increases in farm productivity, improved access to finance, and enhanced market linkages.
