About This Offer
OpenAI Academy helps individuals and organizations build the AI skills needed to work effectively with artificial intelligence, through a connected learning pathway spanning four tracks: Apply AI at Work (core prompting, review, and agent-directed workflows for knowledge workers), Build with AI (using Codex and the OpenAI API across the software development lifecycle for builders), Lead AI Adoption (developing an AI strategy roadmap and initiative plan for leaders), and Teach and Learn with AI (applying AI to teaching, academic work, and career preparation in education settings). Courses are developed by the teams building OpenAI’s models and products, combining product guidance, research, and safety expertise with hands-on practice on real workplace tasks — giving clear instructions, adding context, reviewing outputs, deciding what to delegate, and staying in control of AI-assisted work. Beyond self-paced courses, OpenAI Academy runs a regular calendar of livestreamed bootcamps (e.g., Codex agentic-coding bootcamps), in-person “AI Skills Jam” sessions targeted at specific communities (small businesses, older adults, K-12 educators, nonprofits, government professionals, newsrooms), and on-demand replays and resources. OpenAI also publishes a guide for organizations on deploying Academy courses broadly — covering executive sponsorship, organization-wide rollout, participation reinforcement, and outcome measurement.
