Walmart hosts Growth Summits around the world to connect with suppliers, learn their capabilities and explore opportunities. Walmart Growth Summits bring together Marketplace sellers, suppliers, and innovative companies for focused learning, business matchmaking, and executive alignment. Through a mixture of hands-on training, 1:1 pitch meetings, and partner activations, these events turn connections into commercial results — faster onboarding, stronger assortments, and measurable growth. Recent events include a Global Growth Summit for export-ready suppliers to service our U.S. stores, clubs and marketplace, and local Walmart Growth Summits every retail market in which we operate. • Mexico Growth Summit 2026: Walmart’s fourth annual Growth Summit in Mexico brought together representatives of 350 companies for mentorship and workshops on growing their businesses and joining Walmart’s supplier network. Walmart’s 500+ suppliers also received personalized guidance on how to become Walmart Marketplace sellers, enabling them to expand their sales online as well as in Walmart stores.
• India Growth Summit 2026: With more than 5,000 registrations, the second Walmart Growth Summit in India brought together export-ready businesses, MSMEs, digital-first brands, and supply chain partners to explore growth opportunities across domestic and international markets. During the event, Walmart announced that its Walmart Vriddhi Supplier Development Program (see below) has trained over 115,000 MSMEs in India since 2019 and plans to support 170,000 by 2028. A key highlight of the summit was the dedicated Resource Center, where participants received one-on-one guidance on how to onboard to the Walmart Marketplace, understand regulatory requirements, and scale cross-border operations.
